Here’s what to look out for:
Smiling
If he’s interested there’s no doubt he’ll flash you a glimpse of his pearly whites – it will be natural because he’s comfortable and happy being with you, but it also shows a friendly personality, a positive demeanour, and it eases any tension there may be between you.
Eye Contact
When a guy likes you he’ll be making eye-contact, both to appreciate you and to see if you’re looking at him as well! If he’s confident, he may hold your gaze, while if he’s shy he’s likely to keep looking at you and then looking away.
The eyebrow lift
A truly subconscious action, and one that if you’re not looking carefully, you may well miss. If a guy is attracted to you he’ll produce a quick flick of the eyebrow, perhaps only a fifth of a second long. This signifies approval of you, and widens his face – suggesting he’s approachable.
Nostril flare
Another way of widening his face, this will often occur with the eyebrow lift and helps to ‘open’ his face. Again in the hope of looking friendly and welcoming.
Lip Part
Yet another method of opening his face to you, but also a way of drawing attention to his lips – somewhere that he will want you to be looking if he’s hoping for that kiss later.
Body Pointing
Someone who’s attracted will point their body towards the object of their affection – be this his face, his torso, his feet, or his hands – look out for them all.
Body Position
In the hope of impressing someone he likes, most men will adopt a classically macho stance. That is; standing tall, shoulders back, chest out, flexing muscles, stomach in, hands in pockets, legs spread and head tilted. With so many signs to look out for – he’s really giving you a chance here!
Preening
This can include a number of actions. He may run his fingers through his hair, touch his face, smooth his clothes…and all because he wants to look good for you.
Personal Space
If he tries to get close to you, in a nice way, you’ve found a top sign that he’s attracted. He may touch you arm as he speaks, tuck a label into your top, move your hair from your face, and there are many more. Any of these give him an excuse to touch you for a second, and are a sign that he’s into you – big time.
Exaggerated Movements
Whether a subtle move like standing slightly away from his friends when in a group, or an obvious move such dancing like a madman in a club – he’s just trying to stand out from the crowd in the hope that you’ll notice him. And if it’s the latter – you’ve got to give it to him for effort.
So now you know the secrets ladies, and a man will never be able to fool you again.
Go out there and get him with your new found knowledge!
